    New Member Scholarship

    The New Member Scholarship is an exciting opportunity designed to welcome and reward first-time members. Each year, two newly joined members are selected through a random drawing. Each recipient receives up to $1,500 to attend the NASN in-person annual conference (covering registration, travel, and lodging). 

    Eligible participants must be 18 years or older, hold a current RN license, be employed as a school nurse, and join NASN for the first time between April 1–March 31. No separate application is required—new members are automatically entered upon joining. 

    Beyond supporting professional growth, this scholarship serves as a powerful recruitment tool for affiliate organizations.     Elmer Hawkins Affiliate Recruitment Scholarship 

    The Elmer Hawkins Affiliate Membership Recruitment Scholarship rewards affiliates that demonstrate outstanding membership growth. Each year, one qualifying affiliate organization that achieves at least a 10% increase in membership (measured March 31 year-over-year) is entered into a random drawing to receive up to $1,500 to support attendance at the NASN Annual Conference, including registration, travel, and lodging.  

    No separate application is required—eligible affiliates are automatically entered.
