NYSASN Fall Conference
November 7-9, 2008
The Sagamore Resort and Conference Center
Join us for another wonderful weekend at the beautiful Sagamore Hotel on Lake George. This education packed weekend will commence with a presentation by Statewide School Health Services followed by a delicious dessert reception and recognition of the NYSASN School Nurse of the year. The installation of our newly elected officers will be held at our Saturday evening banquet.
Back by popular demand, is Rita Marie John. Last year at our fall conference Rita's presentation was so well received that we invited her back. This fall she will present "Assessing Mental Health in School Age Children and Adolescents; Tricks of the Trade". Participant evaluation comments after last year's "Physical Assessment" presentation included "Invite her back and I will be there... She is an excellent presenter." ~ "Her speaking style is wonderful and her knowledge of pediatrics is extensive and most valuable." ~ "She really understands school nursing practice." ~ "The best presentation I have heard at a school nursing conference!"
