ZONE 14 Southwestern Region Report
Zone 14 is trying a new approach to our meetings. We will have 2 meetings per year, one in the summer during the day to allow more members to attend and one in the spring.
Our summer meeting was on Tuesday, August 23 at BOCES in Salamanca. Anita McCabe, RN was our speaker from Roswell Park Cancer Institute and she spoke about children with cancer returning to school. We also had a speaker from Cattaraugus County, Norma Cummings, speak about Emergency Preparedness and the Medical Reserve Corps. Our third speaker, Patty Eckwahl was our motivational speaker who really inspired us to return to school with a sense of humor intact. Lunch was plentiful and delicious

The meeting will be on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 5-9pm at the Olean BOCES (Windfall Rd, Olean). Speaker/Presentation TBA at a later date.
