Zone 10 had a wonderful meeting at the Liverpool Public Library in October. We were educated and entertained by Dr. Joseph DiTota O.D., on "Vision problems that can block a student's learning". Those in attendance agreed that the networking and brainstorming with fellow school nurses is a valuable asset to each of our school nurse practices.
Our next meeting is Saturday morning January 21st at the Lincklaen House in Cazenovia, NY. It is a breakfast meeting and will run from 9:00am to 1:00pm. The cost is $6.00 for members and $10.00 for non members which then includes membership. Speakers are Dr.Arlene Balestra-Marko on "Childhood Hearing Loss: From Clinic to Classroom" and Marcia Harris, NP on "The Latest in Neurology Assessments".
