Camp Treetops Nurse Position

Spend the summer surrounded by the beauty of Adirondack mountains, lakes, and woodlands. Camp Treetops is a co-ed, residential, seven-week camp for children ages 8-14, located just outside the Olympic village of Lake Placid, NY. We are looking for an RN for summer 2010 who is interesting in working with children and living in an outdoor setting. With two camp nurses on staff—one for our junior camp (ages 8-11) and one for senior camp (ages 12-14)—we offer the opportunity to work as a team. We also provide salary, plus room and board; in addition, children of nurses are welcome to attend camp at no cost.

Health Director Needed At Awesome Summer Camp

Camp Scully would like to invite professionals with a current certification in one or more of the following: EMT, LPN, RN or PA to be a part of an amazing summer experience. Make a difference in a child's life and become a Summer Camp Health Director. We are looking for candidates with certification, knowledge, experience and the ability to operate our Camp Health Center. Successful candidates will be responsible for recommending and providing appropriate care to all staff and campers. Must provide care and administer treatment in accordance with the New York State Department of Health Regulations. Certification in First Aid and CPR and other skills will be provided during training prior to the campers’ arrival. Must be willing to live and work at Camp. Room and board is provided as part of the compensation package. Employment period is June 17th to August 17th.

Health Supervisors Needed At Girl Scout Summer Camps

Do you love working with children in an outdoor setting? Then be a part of a fantastic summer experience. Make a difference in a child's life and become a summer camp counselor. We are looking for candidates with certification, knowledge, experience and the ability to operate our camp infirmary. Successful candidates will be responsible for recommending and providing appropriate care to all staff and campers. Must provide care and administer treatment in accordance with the New York State Department of Health, Girl Scouts of the USA, HIPAA and the American Camp Association. Current certification in one or more of the following is a must: EMT, LPN, RN or PA (New York State code part 7-2 8A). Must have certification in First Aid and CPR prior to camp or willing to attain at designated training day. Camping background or knowledge in the Girl Scout camping program is helpful, but not necessary. Must be willing to live and work in an outdoor setting.
