NYSASN would like to recognize school nurses in New York State who excel in their practice of school nursing.

NYSASN representatives from each Zone are encouraged, not required, to present one (or more) school nurses from their Zone each year with the Award for Excellence in School Nursing.

Award recipients are chosen at the Zone level providing the following criteria have been met;

• Currently practicing as a full-time school nurse

• Must be a member of NYSASN for the current and preceding two years (three consecutive years)

• Completed application form and biography

• Nomination by self, colleague or administrator
